Born and raised in New England, I’ve also lived in the southwest, the northwest, and now Florida. I’ve back- packed, done wilderness camping in the mountain ranges of both coasts, and enjoyed white water canoeing. Now it’s bike rides or walks on the beach.
With a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, my professional career of over thirty-five years was focused upon working with children ages birth to five years and their families. I served as a classroom teacher, child-care program director, and as a child development specialist. The children’s abilities ranged from gifted to developmentally challenged. This background gives me a rich understanding of the impact of early childhood experiences on adult life.
In retirement, I’ve been a Jewish Para-chaplain, a cantorial soloist, and a Unity Church prayer chaplain. I enjoy spending time alone in nature which I then record through photography and poetry. In recent years, I have added my passion for AstroPsychology. See my Astrology Journal page for those thoughts.

My grandmother was an astrologer who also studied tarot and numerology. I inherited her interest! After the failure of a second marriage, I decided I needed a way to understand why, what had happened, and what could I learn from these experiences. I began studying astrology seriously. This continued on and off for many years, seeking just the right approach. At the same time, I didn’t like the feeling that I was becoming dependent upon astrology to control my life. Then I discovered Dr. Glenn Perry and the Academy of AstroPsychology. I began studying with him in 1999, continuing for almost two years, but did not finish due to meeting my third (and current) husband. I joined the Academy again in 2013 and was able to finish the intensive Diploma program. Dr. Perry's model of AstroPsychology is such a profound subject, however, that learning never stops; it continues through observing my life, working with clients, and mentoring students of astrology.
Teaching was a great joy for me; and now I’m bringing that joy to my passion for AstroPsychology. When I work with a client and natal chart, I will teach as much astrology as the client wants to learn. I want people to understand that they are so much more than their “Sun Signs.” For more information see Consultations and the Astrology Journal.
