“All I can do is be me, whoever that is!”
— Bob Dylan
Born and raised in New England, she has also lived in the southwest, the northwest, and now Florida. She has back-packed and done wilderness camping in the mountain ranges of both coasts, and enjoyed white water canoeing. Now it’s bike rides or walks on the beach.
With a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, her professional career of over thirty-five years was focused upon working with children ages birth to five years and their families. She served as a classroom teacher, child-care program director, and as a child development specialist. The children’s abilities ranged from gifted to developmentally challenged. This background gives her a rich understanding of the impact of early childhood experiences on adult life.
In retirement, she has been a Jewish Para-chaplain, a cantorial soloist, and a Unity Church prayer chaplain. She enjoys spending time alone in nature which she then records through photography and poetry. In recent years, she has added her passion for AstroPsychology to her favorite interests. See her AstroPsychology Blog. for those thoughts.

“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think!”

Her grandmother was an astrologer who also studied tarot, numerology, and Kabbalah. Celia inherited her interest! After the failure of a second marriage, she decided she needed a way to understand why, what had happened, and what she could learn from these experiences. She began studying astrology seriously. This continued on and off for many years, seeking just the right approach. At the same time, she didn’t like the feeling that she was becoming dependent upon astrology to control her life. Then she discovered Dr. Glenn Perry and the Academy of AstroPsychology. She began studying with him in 1999, continuing for almost two years, but did not finish due to meeting her third third (and current) husband. She joined the Academy again in 2013 and was able to finish the intensive Diploma program. Dr. Perry's model of AstroPsychology is such a profound subject, however, that learning never stops. It continues through observing her life, working with clients, and mentoring students of astrology.
Teaching was a great joy for her; and now she is bringing that joy to her passion for Astro-Psychology. When she works with a client and natal chart, she will teach as much astrology as the client wants to learn. She wants people to understand that they are so much more than their “Sun Signs.” For more information see Consultations and the AstroPsychology Blog.
